In June 10-11, 2016, the First East-European Radiology School (EERS) took place in Kyiv, which has become a unique platform for bringing together the medical community of countries advocating the active implementation of European standards, in particular in diagnostic methods. The scientific and practical forum with wide international participation was supported by the Association of Radiologists of Ukraine, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Shupyk National Medical Academy and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The focus of the delegates' attention was the use of computer tomography in the differential diagnosis of various pathologies of internal organs, as well as traumatic injuries.

One of the main features of this scientific and practical conference with international participation was the wide range of teachers from the European Schools (Hungary, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine), the format of speakers’ interactive dialogue with participants including case studies, as well as the excellent European organization of the scientific and educational event itself.

East-European Radiology School 2016 (EERS) is a modern independent platform for in-depth training, communication, sharing of best practices and increasing the professionalism of radiology specialists from Ukraine, Eastern Europe and the CIS, with the participation of leading clinical opionion leaders from Europe and the world. EERS has become the most striking event in the radiology of Ukraine and promises to be so in the future.
